Jasper Jay Barcena is training Jiu-Jitsu at Team Warrior Jiu-Jitsu Davao (Team Warrior) for only eight months and yet he already collected 18 medals from various Judo and BJJ tournaments. Lately he bagged down the Gold Medal in Kids division 51-55kg in the recent Philippine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu National Championship that was held in the SM Manila last Saturday, September 11, 2010.

Holiday Gym and Spa Judo/BJJ Invitational Tournament UPDATE
Congratulations to Jasper Jay Barcena for winning Gold in Judo and BJJ in the recent Holiday Spa Judo/BJJ Invitational Tournament last December 6, 2009.
Jasper won Gold in Judo 10-14 years old division. Sensei Paolo Tancontian also promoted him to Green Belt.
He also won Gold in BJJ. Jasper competed in Men's division yet he is only 14 years old. In the Finals, he submitted Ryan Sentillas (30 years old, Judo Brown Belt) by an armlock.

Coach Kamphuis in Japan tournament
Coach Stephen with Master Rickson Gracie at the recent 2009 Rickson Gracie International held in Hanamatsu Japan. After a brief talk with Coach Stephen Master Rickson expressed an interest in coming to the Philippines to do a combined seminar inclusive of all teams and players. Coach Stephen took 2nd place in the Masters Black Belt Division

We are very excited to hear that Black Belt World Champion and 8x Brazilian Champion Daniel Otero is looking at his schedule to make time for a 2 weeks stay in the Philippines late November / early December.
